Christine Jefferson

of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2007, at the age of 77. She was a Property Manager for Metcalf and Mitchell Properties for over 30 years. Mrs. Jefferson was a member of First Baptist Church of Hoover. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by a son, Robert N. Jefferson of Pelham; 3 grandchildren, Ryan N., Meagan L. and Lauren A. Jefferson; a sister, Betty Jackson of Birmingham; nieces, Joan Layton and Alisa Andrews (Scott); and numerous other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 10, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jim Profetto officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
