Christine Earnest

Mrs. Christine H. Earnest, was born in Eupora, Mississippi in 1927, and died on August 13 at Shelby Baptist Hospital after a brief illness. Christine lived most of her life in Birmingham, working first for the telephone company, and later working at the I.R.S. until her retirement. She was a long-time member of Shades Crest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robbie D. Earnest. She is survived by a son, Royce M. Earnest, two daughters, Karen E. Bolin and Beth E. Brannum, two sisters, Erlene Bates and Kate Turman, six grandchildren, Jennifer Bolin, Kathryn Kennedy, Michael and Tom Earnest, and Robby and Timothy Brannum, and a great grandson, Coulson Kennedy. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 12-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with services at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
