Charlotte Perothers

Charlotte Ann Perothers, of Birmingham, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the age of 77. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and worked in the office at Loveman's Department Store. Ms. Perothers was married 54 years and reared 2 daughters. She was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carolie Perothers, and her grandson, Justin Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Perothers; daughter, Melonie Perothers Holloway (Jim); 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Sandra Chapple.

The family will receive friends from 9-10 AM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 10 AM, Chris Sullivan officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jimmy Hale Mission.
