Charles Hinds

Mr. Charles William Hinds, age 62, of Pelham, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. He was born and raised in Pelham on the family dairy farm before moving to Dozier, AL where he lived from 1993 - 2013. He then returned to Pelham and lived on the farm next to his family and enjoyed his large vegetable garden which he enjoyed sharing with family and friends.

He is survived by his two sons; Justin Hinds (Stacy) and Brent Hinds (Natalie), three daughters; Farrah Hinds, Megan Kirchner (Andrew) and Camryn Hinds; grandchildren, Kaleb Hinds, Alex Hinds, Braiden Gable, Reid Hinds and Skylar Hinds, his mother; Carrie Sue Hinds, his sisters; Martha H. Ward (Ken) and Kimberly H. Balzli Warren (Matt), the late (Monty) Lee Montgomery Hinds and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 from 2 PM until 3 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with services to begin at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. George Golden officiating.
