Charles Greene

Mr. Charles Lessley Greene, of Pelham, AL, passed away May 9, 2014, at the age of 88.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Stella Greene, a daughter, Paula Greene Payton, 2 brothers, Frank Green, Jr. and A.J. Green, and a sister, Mae Hall.
He is survived by a son, Charles R. "Ricky" Greene (Felicia); 2 brothers, Calvin Green (Angeline) and Mason Green (Wendy); 2 sisters, Edna Buse (Bobby) and Linnie Cumberland; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 11, 2014, from 6 to 8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Services will be on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Byars officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
