Charles Gallups

Charles Larry Gallups, 76, of Columbiana, passed away on August 12, 2024, after a long battle of Parkinson's disease.

Larry was born on April 6, 1948, to Renfro and Annie Bell Gallups in Birmingham AL. He graduated from Hueytown High school. After school he worked for US steel as an electrician and later became an electrical contractor until he retired in 1998.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Linda Gallups, his parents Renfro and Annie Bell Gallups, and his great-grandson Owen Gallups.

He is survived by his wife Maureen Gallups, Son Dennis Gallups (Monica), son Brian Gallups (Amy), Brother Bruce Gallups (Diane), sister Nancy (Ricky), and many grandchildren.

His Family would like to thank ExpectCare hospice for the wonderful care they provided in his final years.

Services will be held at Currie-Jefferson funeral home on August 16th, 2024, at 10-11am, with a graveside service at Pilgrims Rest in Fayette at 1:00pm.
