Charles E. Fox Sr. passed away on April 11, 2024. Charles was born in Birmingham, AL on August 23, 1941. Charles was a beloved husband, father, and friend. Charles departed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
After retiring from Buffalo Rock in 1996, Charles most enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife Betty by sharing their love of camping and traveling around the country.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, James Coy and Author L. Fox. His loving wife of 63 years Betty S. Fox. His brothers and sisters James C. Fox Jr, Herbert Fox, Eva Cosby, Anita O’Rourke and Richard Fox.
Survived by his sons Chuck (Grainne) and Carl (Erica), grandchildren Brett Arnold, Brady Fox, Ryan Fox, Reagan Fox, Jaxon Fox, Addison Fox, and great grandchild Penelope Arnold, Brothers Everette & Johnny Fox and sister Mary Frances Fox.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19 2024, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Mass will follow at 10:00 am.
After Mass, burial will be at Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover.
