Charles Ford

January 9, 1927 — April 18, 2017

Mr. Charles Edward Ford, Sr. passed away on April 18, 2017 at the age of 90 He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the U.S.S. Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adell Brasher Ford; his father, Naylor V. Ford; his mother, Dora Anna Ford; two brothers; and one sister. He is survived by one son, Charles E. Ford, Jr. (Sheree); one daughter, Judy McCain; three granddaughters, Candy Cates (Mark), Barbara Hardy, Laura Catanzaro (Louis); eight great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and his loving Maltese dogs, Angel and Merrie.

The family will receive friends from 10-11, Friday, April 21, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 11 in the chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
