On August 12th, 2023 Charles (Chuck) E. Ford Jr. passed away at his home in Mt. Olive. His wife Sheree Posey Ford was at his side.

 

Chuck was born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 30, 1959. He graduated from Fultondale High School and spent the majority of his career with Alagasco, which is now Spire. He retired from Spire in 2021.

 

Chuck was a kind soul, who loved his family dearly and would do anything for them. He loved history, automobiles, and fixing anything that involved tools.

 

Chuck is survived by his wife, Sheree Posey Ford. His stepdaughter Brandi Jordan and son-in-law Paul. Two granddaughters, Cadence and Sarah Jordan. One sister, Judy McCain and three nieces; Candy, Barbie and Laura and several great nieces and nephews.

 

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Chuck's life with a Memorial Service which will be held at Currie Jefferson Memorial. 2701 John Hawkins Pkwy Hoover, Al 35244 on Thursday August 17, 2023. Visitation is 10-11am and chapel service immediately to follow.
