Charles Callans

Charles W. Callans age 88 of Birmingham, Al died on January 3, 2016.

Charlie is remembered most as a leader by example for his selfless caregiving, for his undying love and devotion to his family, dedication to his church, utmost integrity, hard work and kindness for all.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Bernice Callans, three children, Cathy Lee (Robert), Madeline Harris (Greg), and Chuck Callans (Beth), seven Grandchildren, Kristen Noles (John), David Gadilhe (Trisha), Amanda Phillips (Al), Ashley Collins (Joseph), Will Callans (Ashley), Thomas Callans, Josh Harris (Hannah), and eleven Great Grandchildren. Rosary begins 5:00 PM followed by visitation and ending at 7:00, Thursday, January 7 at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church, Hoover, Al. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Friday, January 8 at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church, Hoover, Al.
