Chalice Tucker

Chalice Elaine Tucker, of Hoover, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014. She graduated from W. A. Berry High School in 1978, Auburn University in 1982, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and Cumberland School of Law in 1985. She practiced law in the states of Mississippi, Pennsylvania and Alabama, and was a former managing partner of Shapiro and Tucker. She enjoyed teaching in Sunday School while at Hunter Street Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, family, her dogs, and Auburn Football.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas S. "Tommy" Tucker, Linda Tucker, sister, Lisa Tucker, brothers, Frank W. Tucker and Steven T. Tucker, nephew, Joey Tucker, niece, Kayla Tucker, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 7, 2014, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 10 AM at the funeral home with Denis Tanner officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Shades Crest Baptist Church Building Fund.
