Cecelia Hand

Mrs. Cecelia Ann Hand, of Vestavia Hills, AL, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the age of 78. She was a member of The Church at Ross Bridge. She was a great cook and enjoyed working in her yard. She lived in Pell City for 25 years. She was involved in civic and community events and church outreach programs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Hand.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia Bratton, and Wynay Hand, son, Donnie Hand, brother, Don Baker, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 28, 2014, from 1:30-2:30 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM in chapel with John Mount and Carroll Andrews officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to UAB Cancer Research.
