C.E. Cherry

August 11, 1922 — April 13, 2016

C.E. Cherry, of Columbiana, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the age of 93. He was retired after 42 years with South Central Bell.

He is survived by his daughter, Dianne Powell (Joel); 2 sons, Steve Cherry (Renee) and Kenneth Cherry (Regina); 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; his brother, Jim Cherry (Betty); and 2 sisters, Dot Holland (Bo) and Sarah Austin.

The family will receive friends from 10-11, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 11 in the chapel, pastors Melvin Massey and Mack Ritch officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
