Catherine Johnson

of Hoover, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at the age of 82. Ms. Johnson was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church in Hoover. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to read and walk. She is survived by three sons, Stewart E. Johnson, Jr. (Marjo), of Muscle Shoals, Jimmy Johnson (Vicky), of Helena, and David Johnson of Hoover; one daughter, Ruth Grammer (Jim), of Alabaster; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Amanda Johnson, Jason and James Grammer; one brother, Joseph A. Cobb, of Fair Oaks, CA; and one sister, Edith Lucas, of Oceanside, CA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2005, from 6 until 8 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2005 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
