Carolyn Wright

Carolyn Roberts Wright, age 80, of Hoover, AL, born September 4, 1931, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garza Dayton Roberts, and Ruth Young Roberts, her son, Gary Milton Wright, and a granddaughter, Ashley Wright Lumpkin (Bill). Carolyn was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, Grandmother and Great- Grandmother. Carolyn was survived by her husband, Jesse Milton Wright, Jr, who was her high school sweet heart; two children, Randy Terrell Wright (Sally) of Sanford, NC, and Lisa Wright Wilson (Pete) of Madison, MS; eleven grandchildren, Christian Alexander Wright of Atlanta, GA; Gary Seth Wright (Krysee) of Trinity, AL; Shelby Wright Turner (Brad) of Pinson, AL; William Terrell Wright and Charles Edward Wright of NC; Daniel Cooper Wilson, Benjamin Wright Wilson, Matthew Robert Wilson, Joseph David Wilson, Emily Jane Wilson, and Anna Caroline Wilson all of MS; seven great grandchildren, Autumn, Hannah, Abby, Heidi, Madeline, Abel, and Isabella; two sisters and a brother, Billie Ann Roberts Fuller (Harold) of Birmingham, AL, Mitzi Roberts Garner (Jeep) of Franklin, TN, and Dayton Young Roberts (Rona) of Hoover, AL. Carolyn’s passion was her family, who will always remember her unfailing love, strength, loyalty and generosity. The family will receive friends Friday, October 28, 2011, from 12:30 – 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will follow at 2 PM. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
