Carl White

of Hoover, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006, at the age of 48. He was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church and was a softball coach for Shades Crest and for the Brownsburg IN Girl's softball league. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Mitch Davis, and grandparents, Erma and Michael Schmidt. He is survived by his wife, Edee White; a son Graham White; a daughter, Chloe White; a stepdaughter, Colita Davis; his mother, Nancy Tracy; a sister, Tracy E. Tracy and partner Mary Bussman; his children's mother, Kris White; and brother-in-law, Bob Padgett. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. at Shades Crest Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church, with Rev. Dennis Tanner and Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. The family would like to give special thanks to oncologists Dr. Larry Einhorn in Indianapolis and Dr. Jimmie Harvey in Birmingham.
