Candace Mason

Miss Candace Gail Mason, 64, of Hoover passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School, class of 1968. She was Vice-President of Deposit Systems Support at Regions Bank. She spent the last 40 years in the banking industry. She was an avid photographer that loved taking pictures of friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents William Edward Mason and Bonnie D. Farley. She is survived by her brother Bill Mason (Tyra) and sister Tammy Bleistine (Bob); nephew, Brett Mason and niece, Brooke Duncan (Ryan); great nephews, Cannon, Hudson and Mason Duncan; step-father, Wesley Farley (Jean) and step-mother, Ethel Mason; and by her precious dogs Bella and Lillie. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 2 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of family members to the Alzheimer Association or to the United Cerebral Palsy Hand in Hand.
