Caitlin Schrock

Miss Caitlin Marie Schrock, of Hoover, AL, passed way Sunday, January 11, 2015, at the age of 17. Caitlin lived for 17 years with full Trisomy 18, after given only 6 weeks to live. For 17 years, we saw John 9:1-3 play out before our eyes as God displayed acts of love and created relationships and memories for a life time, and allowed her story to proclaim the name of His Son, Jesus. Caitlin was deeply loved by her family and will forever impact who they are.
She is survived by her parents, Tommy and Terri Schrock, sisters, Courtney (19), Megan (16) and Macey (10), Grandmother, Betty Brown of Hoover, AL, Aunt Katie, Uncle Peter, cousins, Carter, Caroline, Chase and Chloe of Florida, and Aunt Heather, Uncle David and cousin, Hunter of Denver.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 14, 2015, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 12 PM at Hunter Street Baptist Church with Pastor David Nasser officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Sozo Children, www.sozochildren.org.
