Cade Hill Festavan, 43, of Maylene, AL, passed away on December 12th after a valiant battle with cancer.
Cade was born in 1980 to Randy and Deidre Festavan in Alabaster, AL.
Cade met the love of his life, Allison (Hoff) Festavan, at Thompson High School. They both attended the University of Alabama, where Cade earned a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2004.
Cade married Allison in 2004, and they now have 2 daughters, Campbell and Charlotte.
Post college, Cade always worked in the mechanical engineering field. Cade proudly spent most of his professional career diligently and tirelessly working at the business his father started, which specializes in overhead crane design and installation.
When Cade wasn't pouring himself into work, Cade enjoyed the simple things in life...spending time with Al and two girls, good friends, good music, and good beer. Whether it be at the house, on the beach, sitting at a bar with a buddy, or cruising around on a boat in the Virgin Islands, it didn't matter, as long as it was simple and carefree.
Cade is preceded by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Francis, and maternal grandparents, Bill and Gwen Campbell. Cade is survived by his wife, Allison; their two girls, Campbell and Charlotte; his parents, Randy and Deidre; his brother, Kevin; his sister, Kari Myers; and many other beloved relatives including in-laws, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church (4600 Preserve Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35226) in the main sanctuary from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A prayer and dedication Service will follow at 11:00 am.
Cade's top priority and main purpose was always "to make sure his girls were always taken care of," which was apparent in how hard he worked and how cost conscious he was. So, in lieu of flowers, the family asks to, instead, consider contributing to a fund that will be set up for their children's future. You may contact a family member for details on how to make that contribution.
