Bryce Scudder

of Hoover, formerly of Savona, NY, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at the age of 81. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII and was employed by SONAT for 16 years. Mr. Scudder was a member of Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church and a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Erma. Survivors include a son, David Scudder of Hoover; two daughters, Kandis Scudder of Birmingham and Kathy Scudder McEuen (Marshal) of Hoover; and two grandchildren, Heather and Nicholas McEuen. Visitation will be on Friday, August 12, 2005, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joey Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Alzheimers Association, the National Arthritis Foundation, or to Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church.
