Bruce Payton, of Bluff Park, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at the age of 59.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Rhonda Payton; his son, Steven Lamphear (Maggie); his daughter, Laura Carpenter (Nolan); 4 grandchildren; his mother, Sarah Payton; his brothers, Ronnie Payton (Sylvia) and Ricky Payton (Carol); his sister, Cindy Holt (Nolen); and special friend, Shadow.

The family will receive friends 1-2 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 2 PM in the chapel, Rev. Belinda Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
