Bruce Hulberg

Bruce Hulberg, age 72, of Hoover, AL passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Hulberg.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Lynn, his son, Phillip Hulberg (Jennifer), daughter, Susan Carter (Jeremy); his step-children Lisa & Paul Gambrell; his sister, Carole Freeze; eight grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Bruce was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years in the Shelby County School System. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Friday, November 15, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150, in Hoover. A memorial service will be Saturday, November 16 at 10 AM Christ The King Lutheran Church, 611 Riverchase Parkway West, Hwy 31 also in Hoover.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Christ The King Lutheran Church Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
