Bruce Eidson

EIDSON, BRUCE LAWRENCE, of Hoover, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010, at the age of 51. He was born in Chicago, IL, raised in Rockville, CT. Bruce moved to Birmingham in 1977. He was co-owner of the family business, DS of Alabama, an internet automotive services company. He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis; mother, Ann; and brother, Dan. He is survived by his son, Bruce L. Eidson, Jr. of Birmingham; sister, Kim Crane (Tom) of Hoover; three brothers, Dennis Eidson (Julia) of Roswell, GA, David Eidson (Debby) of Atlanta, GA, and Greg Eidson of Shreveport, LA; and twelve nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover. Funeral mass will follow at 7:00 PM at the church, Father John Fallon officiating. Bruce greatly appreciated the love and support he received from his many friends and family over the past year. His kind heart and gentle spirit will be sorely missed.
