Brandon Blaising

Brandon Keith Blaising passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. Brandon was 19 years old.

Brandon was born on June 16, 2003, in Birmingham, AL. His beautiful blue eyes and sweet smile brought much joy to all who knew or even met him. Brandon loved well and was loved deeply by all. Even when he was most visibly ill, he fought valiantly and inspired everyone he knew.  Brandon loved attending school and riding the bus, car rides with dad in his convertible, boat rides, and Elmo. He loved his nieces and nephew and was affectionately called Uncle Boo by all of them.

Brandon is survived by his loving parents, Debi and Sonny Blaising; sister, Emily Kuhn (Andrew); brothers, Garrett (Whitney), and Nick (Emily Rose); grandmother, Josephine Gulledge; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and cousins. A celebration of life service will be held at Shades Mountain Community Church on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shades Mountain Community Church Family Fellowship Fund.
