Boyd Moose

Boyd D. Moose of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2005, at the age of 50. Born in Concord, he transferred from Charlotte to Birmingham in 1981 with Norfolk Southern Railroad where he worked for 28 years. He was a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church and enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. Boyd was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was devoted to his family and to God. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lisa Newton Moose of Birmingham; a son, Adam Moose of Charlotte; three daughters, Ashlee Moose Moore (Chris), Tyler Thigpen and Peyton Moose all of Birmingham; a granddaughter, Bebe Moore; his parents, L.G. and Nell Moose of Concord; a brother, Emory Moose of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Lisa Sprinkle (Keith) of Salisbury; and his loving pet, Fritz. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 4 p.m. at Phaniels Baptist Church.
