Bonnie Baker

a long time resident of Bessemer, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2007, at the age of 94. Bonnie was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church, Morning Glories Garden Club, Hueytown Senior Center, and the Adventure Travel ("Bud's Bunch") Group. She retired from Independent Life after more than 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert "Bob" Baker, and a daughter, Brenda Adams (Roger). She is survived by a daughter, Frances Scholl (Richard); a son, Robert Dale Baker (Bonnie); 3 grandchildren, Lisa Cole (Randy "Jabo"), Brian Baker (Sheri), and Mark Adams; 6 great grandchildren Noelle Limbaugh (Matt), Wil and Jake Cole, Brittney Adams, and Jessica and Shae Baker; and a great great granddaughter, Madie Limbaugh. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. .
