Mr. Bobby Ray Hale, 74, of Hoover, AL passed away after a lengthy illness on February 28, 2020. Bobby was born on May 13, 1945. He grew up in Alabama and loved Alabama football. He loved to fix things and never saw a broken item or machine he could not fix. This led to his career in the HVAC field with TRANE where he worked over 19 years. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a young man out of high school and received technical training, which also led to his later career with TRANE. He loved fishing with his son, watching Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, and Andy Griffith, woodworking, and being in Highlands, NC.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, David and Gertrude; and brother, Bill.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; son, Douglas; and sisters, Peggy and Sarah.
The Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 PM at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills on Friday, March 6, 2020.
