Bobbie Pettyjohn

age 72, of Bessemer, went home to be with the Lord February 18, 2006. She was a member of Parkwood Church of God for 47 years and was greatly loved by family and friends. Mrs. Pettyjohn was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Earlene Ingram and her brother, Billy Joe Ingram. Bobbie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roy A. Pettyjohn, Jr.; daughters LaWanda Orange (Jack) of Huffman and Connie Buffkin (Gene) of Hoover; son, Jeff Pettyjohn (Donna) of Morris; grandchildren Brian Cook (Shonda), Brent Buffkin (Leigh), Kevin McArrell, Brandi McManus (Jason), Matthew Pettyjohn, Sandy Niblett (Ben), Candy Robertson, and Steven Robertson; 7 great grandchildren; and a sister, Linda "Pat" McBrayer (Jimmy). The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 Sunday night at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel, 11:00, Monday, February 20, 2006, Bro. Steve Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
