Bobbie Miller

June 12, 1933 — April 28, 2016

Surrounded by her family, Bobbie Jean Davis Miller, left this world in peace for her new home in Heaven on April 28, 2016. She was a resident of Moody, Alabama. Bobbie was born June 12, 1933, to the late Stephen A. Davis and the late Emma Jean Davis of Shelby County. She graduated from Shades Valley High School. She was the Child Nutrition Manager at Rocky Ridge Elementary School for 19 years before retiring. She previously attended Lakeside Baptist Church in Rocky Ridge and her current church Bethel Baptist in Moody. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Jack Andrew Miller and her son Jack Andrew Miller Jr.

Her spirit is carried on by her daughters, Debbie Rasberry (David), Connie Martin (Ken) and Jackie Davis (Ken) of Moody; her grandchildren, Billy Martin III (Alex), Sandy Clemons (Chris), Amanda Stone (Randy), Kenneth Davis (Stacey), Brooke Golden (Reid); her great grandchildren, Caitlin Clemons, Chloe and Andrew Davis, and Bradley Stone; her siblings, James Davis (Diane), Barbara Chartier (Norman), and Grace Carter (Jim); and an extended family of relatives and friends from every walk of life.

We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Bobbie during her 82 years. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Gentiva Hospice Homewood for their care.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 10AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. The service will follow at 11AM in the Chapel. Bro. Chris Burns will be officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South on Hwy 150 in Hoover, AL.
