Bob Woodard

age 81, of Birmingham, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division. He was a charter member and Deacon of Green Valley Baptist Church. After 40 years of employment, he retired from Joe Money Machinery, Co. as Vice-President. He was preceded in death by his grandson E. E. Patterson III (Trey). He is survived by his wife of 59 years Pauline Moore Woodard; one son, Dan Woodard; one daughter, Debbie Patterson (Pat); grandchildren, Stacy Patterson Morris (John), Matthew Woodard, Ruth Woodard and one great grandchild William Edward Morris; two sisters, Judy Garner (Billy) and Patsy McDonald (Wes). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11am at the Green Valley Baptist Church with burial in Elmwood cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9 untill 11am at the church. The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Green Valley Baptist Church Building Fund.
