of Clay, went to Heaven, August 24, 2013. He was preceded in death by daughter, Natalie, and father, Roy Joe Chandler. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy; son, Lane Chandler; daughter, Suzanne Chandler; two granddaughters, McKaye and Evie; mother, Betty Miller; 4 sisters, Diane Zaragoza (Butch), Daricer Shoemaker (Bill), Dolores Bonin (Joey) and Denise Poole (Jeff); and many extended family and friends. Bob loved sports, football, baseball, hunting and fishing. His family and friends referred to him as "the walking Alabama Sports Encyclopedia." He was owner and operator of Chandler Painting Company for 35 years. He found peace and enjoyment riding his beloved Triumph motorcycle and he began to capture the beauty on these trips by taking photos that he framed on the wall of the family room, of which he was happy to tell the stories behind the photos. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends Monday, August 26, 2013, from 6-7 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with a Memorial Service following at 7 PM.
