Birdie Pearson

Mrs. Birdie Pearson, age 80, of Bessemer, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Jasper (Robert) and Cindy Houtz (Alan) and one son Albert Pearson (Lauren); five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 10 until 11 am at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral home with a graveside service to follow at 11 am in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family wishes to thank New Beacon Hospice and Plantation Manor and Tannehill Haven for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
