Billie Carpenter

Billie Ruth Brown Carpenter passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family on August 8, 2023, at the age of 79.

She was preceded in death by her father Cozell Brown, mother Gary Whitfield, first husband Carlton Jones, second husband Wade Carpenter, brother Columbus Brasher and sister Adell Ford.

She is survived by her sons Davy Jones and Abe Jones, Grandchildren Katie and Cody, great grandson Jax, brother Barney Brasher and sister Ressie Hawkins.

Billie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she was loved by many. Her favorite place to go was the beach and she went every chance she got! She loved Jesus with all of her heart and she will be missed by all who loved her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, Alabama.
