Bich Nguyen

Bich Nga Thi Nguyen was born January 5, 1972 in Saigon, Vietnam and passed away on October 24, 2021, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Bich was deeply committed to her Christian faith, a woman of prayer and a loyal member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, and Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church. She was devoted to her family always caring for their needs. In Vietnam she owned a restaurant, and in the United States was a Kitchen Chef at Shoal Creek Country Club. In her free time, she was always preparing delicious meals for her family and friends, reading books and gardening.

Bich is preceded in death by her father, Minh Nguyen. She is survived by her husband, Hai Tu; her son Huy Tu; her mother, Phuong Hao Nguyen; her brothers, Manh Nguyen and Hau Nguyen; and by her sisters, Ha Nguyen, Dung Nguyen, Phuong Anh Nguyen, Kim Oanh Nguyen, Cuc Nguyen, Trinh Nguyen and Phuong Tam Nguyen.

Celebration of her beautiful life will be held at Our Lady of the Valley in Hoover, Alabama. Visitation is at 9:00 a:m, and Mass at 10:00 a:m. Burial is immediately following at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, Alabama.
