Bettye Broadhead

Bettye B. Broadhead, of Alabaster, passed away on Mar 31, 2016, at the age 84. She was retired from Sherman Concrete and previously worked at Buck Creek Cotton Mill. She was a member of Duncanville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed music and dancing. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Broadhead and Jack Farmer, and a son, Bobby Broadhead.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Beabout Alvis (Willard); her step son, Jeffrey Farmer (Stephanie); her 5 grandchildren, Michelle Burt (Eric), Philicia Danner (Curt), Todd Beabout (Heather), Jeff Beabout (Dana), and Wendy Ryan (Pat); 12 great grandchildren; her sister, Sharon Harris (Jack); and her daughter-in-law, Jan Broadhead.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Apr 2, 2016, from 9-10AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The service will follow at 10AM in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to a charity of your choice.
