Betty Wallace

May 27, 1935 — January 31, 2017

Betty Lois "Carver" Wallace, of McCalla, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at age 81. She was of Baptist faith and retired from Alabama Power after 25 years. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by a brother, W.A. "Bill" Carver.

Betty is survived by 2 sons, Keith Wallace and Mark Wallace (Bari); 4 grandchildren, Kristal Wallace Lesley (Austin), Matthew, Joshua and Jenna Wallace; 5 great grandchildren, Makenzie, Maddox, Mathis, Mayes and Tytus; 2 sisters, Judith Holt and Lynda Shelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2017, from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with the service to follow in the Chapel.
