Betty Odom

of Hoover, passed away at the age of 75. She graduated from Ensley High School and served on the Board of Alabama Forest Owners Association. Ms. Odom was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by two sisters, Lucy Williams (Dick) of San Marcos, TX, and Peggy Dennis (George) of Jasper; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
