Betty Nelson

Mrs. Betty L. Nelson, age 86, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Troy Nelson, and a son, Lloyd E. Nelson. She is survived by a son, Edward E. Nelson, two daughters, Jo Ann Nelson Terry (J.D.) and Shirley F. Jacks (Richard), eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 30, 2011, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Pallbearers will be grandsons and family friends.
