Betty Johnson

November 7, 1928 — July 8, 2022

Mom has gone to be with the Lord, and my dad. I find comfort in the fact she is now in Heaven. She will be missed, but will no longer be in pain. I give all glory to God. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was from Gadsden Alabama. She lived a long life, 93 years old. She is survived by her daughter Karen Phillips, son Ken Johnson, son-in-law Tony Phillips, daughter-in-law Tammy Johnson. Also granddaughter Jaime Thomas, and grandson Austin Little. She also had a great-granddaughter, Sophie Thorn. Mom graduated from Etowah High School in Gadsden. She was a proud 4-year cheerleader at Etowah, her last 2 years as Head Cheerleader. Back then they had a title in Alabama called Best High School Cheerleader in the State, which she was named her Senior year. She was also Homecoming Queen her Senior year. She was a retired nurse at Children's Hospital in Birmingham Alabama. She had an infectious whit, and sense of humor. Mom passed away on July 8, 2022.
