Betty Graham

Betty W. Graham, of Birmingham, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at age 87. She retired from Jefferson Federal Savings and Loan Association after 37 years of service. Mrs. Graham was a ground breaker for women in the business world. She rose to the position of Vice President of Legal Services, an unbelievable accomplishment for that time period. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ollie Williams Yuille; step-father, Doug Yuille; brother, Andrew Williams (Louise); and sister, Lois White.

Mrs. Graham leaves behind one son, Jeff Graham; two daughters, Tommie Skellie (Kenneth) and Terrye Sutter (Danny); 5 grandchildren, Graham Sutter (Haley), Danielle Sutter, Graham Segrest, J. Michael Graham, and Emerson Graham; and many loved nieces, nephews, friends, and special caretakers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 23, 2017, from 10-10:30 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with the service to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Graham's honor to the American Cancer Society.
