Betty Edwards

Mrs. Betty Franklin Edwards, age 81, of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. She was an employee of U S Steel for 43 years and was a member of Central Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John (Jack) R. Edwards and her parents Bedford and Vera Franklin. She is survived by her sister Doris Crain (Ed)of Hoover, two brothers, Don Franklin (Sandra) of Pleasant Grove and Ellis Franklin (Pat) of Arizona. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 1 until 2 pm at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 2 pm in th Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank Dr. Luis Pineda and staff for their care during her illness.
