Bertha Brashier

of Wilsonville, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at the age of 92. She was a charter member of Pelham Church of God. Everyone loved her cooking, and she was an excellent homemaker and a maker of quilts. Mrs. Brashier is survived by a son: Ivan Brashier (Robin) of Helena; two daughters, Marie Driggers (A. J.) of Hoover and Joyce Willis (Jerry) of Wilsonville; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Bob Collins officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
