Bernice Perryman

of Cahaba Heights passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the age of 84. She was a charter member of Philadelphia Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Family and friends will always remember her great love for the Lord and her willingness to serve others. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Harold Perryman. She is survived by two sons, Harold Duane Perryman (Jessica) and Carl Wayne Perryman of Birmingham, AL; a daughter, Kathy Perryman Wright of Birmingham, AL; four grandchildren, Janna Chiasson (Al) of Nashville, TN, Gregory Perryman (Shannon) of Pensacola, FL, Whitney and David Wright of Birmingham, AL; and four great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, Elliott, and Lydia Chiasson. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 7, 2008 from 10-11am at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Philadelphia Baptist Church or Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama, PO Box 2273, Birmingham, AL 35201.
