Benjamin Gibbs

Ben was a fun-loving young man with an amazing sense of humor. He dearly loved his family and friends. An anonymous, beloved Bluff Park teacher once stated, "he was the laziest smart kid I ever knew." He loved working out and playing basketball with his friends at the FLC. Ben was loved and adored by his family. He showed his faith in Christ by the way he lived his life and the example he set for others.

Ben was preceded in death by Grandfather Gordon Thomas.

Ben is survived by Mother; Leah D Gibbs, Father; Thomas M Gibbs, Siblings; Jackson and Tamsyn Gibbs, Grandparents; Marcelia Gibbs, and John and Tamala Douglas, Aunts and Uncles; Gordon Gibbs (Jennie), Marla Gibbs (Julie), and Jonathon Douglas (Tara).

Services will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at

Shades Crest Baptist Church

452 Park Avenue, Hoover, AL 35226

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm

Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm.
