Beatrice Mcconnell

Beatrice Pauline McConnell, 85 years old, passed away on Thursday January 15, 2015, at Greenbriar at the Altamonte Nursing Home. Prior to breaking both hips she resided with daughter Sylvia in Hoover. Husband Robert McConnell, passed in 2002, while both were living in Fortville, Indiana.
She is survived by a very large loving family who will miss her very much. The survivors are 2 children, Sylvia and Danny and 5 Step Children, Mary Jo, Andy, Debbie, Bill and Jim. She has 29 Grand Children and 33 Great Grand Children. Her favorite Dog, Peanut Butter will miss visiting her at the Nursing Home. He would never leave her side when she was near him.
Beatrice worked as an assembly line worker at Western Electric Manufacturing Bell Telephones. Later she was a housewife. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama. She was known as the "Church Hugger".
Viewing shall be available Monday January 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel @ Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, 2701 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, AL. Funeral Services shall be held in the Chapel @ 11:00, Monday January 19, 2015.
