Beatrice Hughes

Beatrice Marie McLain was born in Lawrence County, TN. She was a long time member of 9th Street Church of Christ and a current member of Flint Hill Church of Christ. Beatrice was a resident of the Eastern Valley Community.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Boyd Hughes; son, Jimmy Hughes (Rhonda); 2 daughters, Janie Blankenship (Buddy) and Janice Hillhouse (Randy); 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Brown, Kristie Barnes, and Sammie Lee Hughes; 5 great grandchildren, Josie Brown, Mary Beth Brown, Clay Barnes, Camille Barnes, and Tucker Ross; and her brother, Jay McClain.
The family will receive friends from 11-1, Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel, Neal Gilbert and Allen Hargett officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
