Barbara Studdard

Barbara McCraw Studdard, 81, of Jacksonville, Alabama, passed away on February 18, 2022. Barbara was born November 12, 1940 in Johns, Alabama and spent her childhood in Hueytown, Alabama. She graduated from Jacksonville State University and Auburn University Montgomery and enjoyed a long career as a teacher. She taught elementary and middle school grades in Georgia, California, Florida, Germany and Alabama, and retired from Anniston City Schools. She was a resident of Jacksonville since 1982. Barbara was preceded in death by her father Jewell McCraw, mother Flora Owens McCraw and daughter Karen Studdard Curvin.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Brian and Jan Studdard, granddaughters Laurel and Jillian Studdard, sister and brother-in-law Faye and Edwin Milford, nephew Marcus Milford, niece Amy Milford Gwinn and many special cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, Alabama. A graveside service will be held at 11:00.am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
