Barbara Myrick

Mrs. Barbara J. Myrick, age 68 of Shelby, Alabama passed away at local hospital on January 22, 2014.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 25, 2014 in the chapel at Currie-Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Hoover, Alabama. George Golden will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 11:00AM until 12:00PM, with services immediately following.
Mrs. Myrick was born January 11, 1946 in Shelby County, Alabama to the late James W. Jones and Annie Pearl Whitfield Jones.
Mrs. Myrick was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Myrick, Jr., her sister Gretha Myrick, her nephew Tony Myrick and her niece Brenda Norris.
Survivors include: her sons; Timothy Clark Pesnell (Pam) and William Taylor Pesnell, her sisters; Ruth Brasher, Covelle Rickles, her brothers; Jim Jones, Wayne Jones, and Roger Jones and lifelong best friends Betty Jones and Ed Hall; grandchildren Tia Brooks (David) and Corey Pesnell (Kasey,) great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and loyal friend. Currie-Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home directing.
