She was a true entrepreneur and owned multiple businesses and investment properties throughout her lifetime. She loved politics and was always involved on a local level in the endeavor to better her community.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Ruth Mulvehill, sister Nell Haggard, brother Herman Mulvehill , nephew Buddy Mulvehill and son Laird Jackson Sharpe II. She Loved the Lord, was a friend to many and always had a soft spot for anyone that needed help. She was a true champion of the downtrodden. Her passion was dogs and animal rescue. She often laughingly said that dogs were easier than people and that God created them to teach us unconditional love.
The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Isabell Alarcon and Jessica Encinas and the staff of Aspire Cahaba for the amazing love and care that they showed Barbara in her final days.
