Barbara Harrison

Mrs. Barbara K. Harrison, 83, of Birmingham, AL passed away on August 14, 2021. Everyone that met Barbara loved her, and she loved them. Barbara leaves a legacy of love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira Leonard King and Margaret Vernon Sillavan brother, John Charles Bailey and by her beloved husband, Jimmie Harrison.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Leonard Booth (Michelle); daughter, Renee Booth Monroe (Raymond); grandchildren, Ariel Booth, Cassie Booth, Charles Monroe (Sarah), Barbara Allyn (Jeremy), Alexander Monroe (Esther), William Monroe (Alicia), and Robert Monroe (Rachel), great-grandchildren, Ezra Monroe, Violet Monroe, Jane Monroe, Gus Allyn, Bonnie Allyn, Mamie Allyn, Calvin Monroe, Jack Monroe, Tabitha Monroe, Adeline Monroe, Pandora Monroe, Wills Monroe, Ella Monroe, Charlotte Monroe, and Cora Monroe; sister, Jo Lynn Foster; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2:00pm at The Church at Old Town formally, First Baptist Church of Helena, with a one hour visitation prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
